Privacy & cookies

What we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect very little, we ask before running analytics, and we never sell or share your details for marketing.

Who we are

Cloudreason Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10425971) with an office at 8 Devonshire Square, London EC2M 4PL. We are the data controller for the personal data described on this page. You can reach us through the contact form or on 020 3393 2472.

What we collect

Messages you send us

When you use the contact or booking form we receive the details you type: your name, work email and message. Form submissions are delivered to us by Formspree, our form processor. We use them only to reply to you and keep them only as long as the conversation needs; we do not add you to marketing lists.

Analytics

With your consent, we measure how the site is used with Google Analytics, loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz. It tells us things like which pages are read, which sites and campaigns visitors arrive from, and roughly where in the world they are. Google processes your IP address as part of this to estimate approximate location; we never see IP addresses or precise locations in our reports. Analytics does not run at all unless you accept it in the cookie banner.

Hosting and security

The site is served by GitHub Pages behind Cloudflare. Like almost every website, these providers keep standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and reliability. We rely on legitimate interests as the legal basis for this, and on your consent for analytics.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies until you make a choice in the banner. If you accept analytics, these are set:

Cookie Purpose Duration
_ga Distinguishes visitors for Google Analytics 2 years
_ga_T88CK3S8QG Keeps Google Analytics session state 2 years
Consent preferences Remembers the choices you make in the cookie banner 1 year

You can change your mind at any time: and update your choices. Withdrawing consent stops analytics from that point on.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, and ask for it in a portable format. Send any request through the contact form and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk .
